Coffee Mornings

Come along to a WARS Coffee Morning.

Join us for a cuppa and a slice of cake in the community room at the shelter.

Not forgetting a good old chat, a spot of shopping in our Charity Shop and the chance to win a prize on our tombola, all in support of the shelter.

Our coffee mornings run from 11am to 1pm , and we have the following scheduled for 2026:

  • Friday 17th April (Celebrating 25 years of rehoming dogs and cats)
  • Friday 21st August (Summer)
  • Friday 16th October (Autumn)
  • Friday  11th of December (Christmas)

Dog Show

WARS Fun Dog Show and Fete

Our yearly Fun dog show and Fete has been and gone, and as always it was a huge sucess, we can’t thank everyone enough on their loyatly and generosity to our previous shows.

Our 2027 Dog show will be confirmed soon! Watch out for our 2027 calender launch soon.

Santa Paws

Join us at WARS for a festive celebration.

Meet and greet Santa for a professional photo with your dog – emailed to you ready for Christmas.

Enjoy some Christmas shopping, enter our raffle and Doggy Tombola.

Not to mention a non-alcoholic mulled wine, hot chocolate, tea or coffee, along with some sweet treats!

Santa Paws 2026, will run 11am to 3pm on Saturday the 28th of November

Please Note: We hold a ‘quiet’ hour for nervous and reactive dogs between 2-3pm. Email info@wars.org.uk to book a slot for your nervous or reactive dog.
