Pretty Pumpkin is a beautiful young lady who has found herself in our care after coming from a multi-cat household of 21 cats. Her owner responsibly had her neutered, to ensure no more kittens, however realised that 21 cats was a few too many, and Pumpkin came to us to find her forever home. Pumpkin is a huge fan of fuss and people, therefore really struggled to settle in the cattery and was constantly crying for attention. It was decided she would move into a foster home, where whilst she waits for her forever home she can get as much love and fuss as her heart desires.

We have sadly discovered that during her stay with her foster carer (who fortunately had a security camera on hand!) that Pumpkin suffers with seizures, and may have a condition such as epilepsy. Our vets have run blood tests on her and nothing has shown up, so they believe this to be the most likely outcome. For now we are monitoring her and if the seizures become regular, she will require medication for her condition. We would ask that anyone applying for Pumpkin would bare this in mind, and be able to provide for her if this was to be her future outcome. The WARS team will run through this in further detail to any successful applicants.

Pumpkin is searching for a loving home, with people who would like an affectionate and tactile cat. She would need her family to be around for a good portion of the day, to ensure she has the company she needs to feel settled in her new home. She may be able to share her home with other cats, as long as they are confident and comfortable sharing their environment. Pumpkin may also be able to live with children aged 5 and above, as she has been friendly with children in her previous home.

Pumpkin will need to be kept as an indoor cat going forwards, so her adopter can monitor her for any further seizures, and keep her safe and comfortable.
