Meet Missy – A beautiful bull breed with a heart of gold

Missy is a beautiful Staffordshire Bull Terrier X American Bulldog, and has found herself back in our care after a few months respite from kennels in a foster home. Her favourite thing is to hang out a home, enjoying sofa cuddles galore and being an excellent companion for movie nights and chilling out together. She also enjoys walks to quiet and rural locations, and would love a caring and active family to offer her the forever home she deserves.

Missy is 5 years old, and has sadly had a bit of a rollercoaster of a past. Understandably, this means she can be a little untrusting of new people to begin with but once you are friends with Missy you truly have a friend for life, and she is extremely loyal to her favourite people (which she demonstrates with lots of slobbery ‘kisses’)! Missy is looking for a quiet, adult only home or one with sensible older teenagers where she doesn’t have to manage too many comings and goings, as she can be a little anxious with visitors to the home. Missy has been progressing with her dog socialisation skills, however still does need consistent training in this area and would benefit from going to a training minded home in a low dog populated area. She is a super foodie and playful girl, which make her a delight to train and build a bond with. Missy is a pleasure to walk, and enjoys a good sniff around fields, woods and rural locations. She would also benefit from off lead runs in secure fields, as she loves a good game of fetch.

Missy is currently on a daily tablet to keep her skin in tip-top condition, as when she first arrived with us she was extremely itchy, therefore this would need to be continued in her future home going forwards.
