Meet Mae

Gorgeous Mae was handed into our local vet clinic as a stray, sadly with a huge open wound on her back. This must have been extremely painful for her, but despite this being enough to make anyone miserable, she has proven to be a beautiful girl with a fabulous temperament. Mae is currently living in a foster home receiving all the TLC she needs, but her wound is healing nicely and she is now ready to find her forever home.

Mae’s foster carer reported her to be timid initially, but with a feather toy in one hand and treats in the other, she was soon happy to make friends and although in typical cat fashion it is on her own terms, she is an affectionate and playful girl. Mae is a curious soul, and every day she is building in confidence and character. She is especially playful so will need a family that are happy to keep her entertained throughout the day and provide her with plenty of enrichment. She’s a good eater, and will never say no to a Dreamie or two! Mae is not really a lap cat, but that isn’t to say she doesn’t love a fuss, and would love a family to snuggle up with of an evening.
