Every empire needs a ruler, and Lord Catius of the Meowman Empire is ready to retire from conquering the kingdom of Malvern and settle into a loving home instead.

This handsome gentleman was found as a stray and brought into the vet after life on the streets left him with a nasty abscess. Thankfully, he’s responded brilliantly to treatment, is healing well, and is almost ready to put those difficult days behind him. We estimate Lord Catious is around 5 years old.

Despite his grand title, there’s nothing demanding about this emperor. In fact, he’s an incredibly sweet, affectionate boy who absolutely loves cuddles. If you’re looking for a cat who enjoys being close to his people, Lord Catius will happily appoint himself your personal shadow (and lap warmer).

Like many rulers, though, he does prefer not to share his throne. He’d be happiest as the only pet in the home, where he can enjoy all the attention to himself. He could happily live with respectful children aged 7 years and over, pending successful introductions at the shelter.

Lord Catious would also like the best of both worlds: a home with indoor comforts and access to the outdoors so he can patrol his kingdom by day before returning home for a feast and a well-earned snooze.

To help him start a fresh chapter, Lord Catious will be rehomed away from the Malvern area, to prevent him from returning to his former kingdom.
