Meet Bob

Bob is a lovely boy who recently retired from racing and is now on the lookout for a home to call his very own.

Bob has never lived in a conventional home before, so would love to find a patient and understanding family that can continue his training and introduce him to all things home life. Bob is a friendly boy with everyone he meets, and is a really affectionate and tactile chap. Bob is also however, a little unaware of his size, and he can be a bouncy boy that jumps up for cuddles, therefore we think best suited to a home with older people (aged 12 and over) that are comfortable with large, energetic dogs. Bob will need continued training with his basic manners and commands, and would be best suited to an active family that enjoy exploring the outdoors, and would be happy to continue working with him to help him blossom into the best version of himself. He has been friendly with dogs at the shelter, though can have a boisterous playstyle when excited, therefore may be able to live with another confident dog who would enjoy having a buddy to run around with, pending successful meets here. Bob does have a high prey drive, and would therefore be best suited to a home without cats or small furry pets. Bob’s time being left alone in his new home will need to be built up from scratch in the early days, to ensure he is safe and comfortable when left to his own devices.
