Dog show photos September 2025

Thanks for all attending the very wet dog show event. Funds raised are vital to keep the shelter going. Here is hoping next year will be a nice sunny day

Coffee Mornings

Come along to a WARS coffee morning.

Join us for a cuppa and a slice of cake in the community room at the shelter.

Not forgetting a good old chat, a spot of shopping and the chance to win a prize on our tombola, all in support of the shelter.

Our coffee mornings run from 11am to 1pm , and we have the following scheduled for 2025:

  • Friday 18th July
  • Friday 21st November

Dog Shows

Enjoy a family fun day at WARS Summer and Autumn dog shows.

We have a dog agility course, and a chance for shopping, with craft stalls and other local charity pop-up stalls.

Refreshments will be available. along with a BBQ, and the chance to win raffle and tombola prizes.

Our 2025 Summer and Autumn dog shows will run from 11am on the following dates:

  • Sunday 1st June
  • Sunday 7th September

Santa Paws

Join us at WARS for a festive celebration.

Meet and greet Santa for a professional photo with your dog, which will be emailed to you ready for Christmas.

Enjoy some Christmas shopping, carols and enter our raffle.

Not to mention a non-alcoholic mulled wine, hot chocolate, tea or coffee, along with some sweet treats!

Santa Paws 2025, will run 11am to 3pm on:

  • Saturday 6th December

Please note: we hold a ‘quiet’ hour for nervous and reactive dogs. Please email info@wars.org.uk to book a slot if you have a nervous or reactive dog.
