Meet Spud, this lovely boy came into us as a stray.
Spud arrived with awfully infected mouth and was in need of a dental! He is now much more comfortable, we have also had to put Spud on a diet as he was storing some extra pounds ready for winter. It is really important his new family continue to work towards his ideal weight for his ongoing health.
Spud could live with another dog in his new home, but due to the limited history we have he is looking for a family with older children 13+.
Spud is looking for a family home, as we have no previous history it would be depend on how he got along at the shelter but we think he could potentially live with children 13+.
Spud is an outgoing happy boy and can get excited and strong and he would therefore suit a family that understands bull dogs and their breed traits. His new family will need take some care with his exercise, especially managing it during the warmer summer months and they would need to ensure he remains on a suitable ongoing healthy diet, to keep him healthy and happy.
Spud walks with other dogs at the shelter, so he could potentially live with another suitable dog. Spud can be vocal in his kennel and typical to his breed he enjoys human companionship so it’s best he won’t be left longer than 2-3 hours especially to start with so that he can decompress and gradually build up his alone time in his new home.
Spud didn’t come to us in the best condition, but now he has had his dental he is feeling much more comfortable, can you offer this lovely boy his second chance?
