About Me
Meet Tim,
This handsome boy came to us originally as a stray, and he was a completely different dog to the one we are proud to see today! Tim is a little joy and we are very proud of his progress with us, Tim has taken some time to recover and find his feet since being with us and over the last few months we placed Tim into a foster placement. As we had limited information on his history and being one of our longest residents, we wanted Tim to have some respite and time to shine in a home setting. This has where he has gone from strength to strength! Tim has been a fantastic foster success and has proven just what a fantastic companion and family dog he will be with this forever family.
Tim, was shut down and very anxious when he first entered WARS and our team worked hard to show him how he can trust humans and enjoy life like he deserves, Tim has blossomed over time, and he has the most adorable personality with the biggest heart. Tim loves his adventures and is a proper water baby! He would thrive in a small town that’s semi-rural and has nice peaceful walking areas, he wouldn’t cope with city life or anywhere too over populated to begin with as Tim likes to take his time finding his paws in new settings at his pace, and when he is comfortable he shines! It doesn’t take him long to relax, but he will need patient understanding owners to continue his confidence building.
Tim gains a lot of confidence from a resident dog and others on walks, he is super respectful and gentle with other dogs and gains a lot from their company due to this we would like Tim’s new home to have an another existing dog to help show him the ropes. From observations in care and in his foster home, Tim has a low prey drive and takes little notice of cats on walks and we do feel with the correct introductions Tim could live with a confident established cat.
Tim could live with older children 11+ as long as they’re mindful and respectful and help Tim settle in his new home. Tim needs a peaceful predictable home environment but despite this is very gentle and playful so therefore we feel he could fit in a family home well.
Tim is house trained and understands basic commands, he is a clever interactive boy and we can’t wait to see him settled with his forever family, could that be you?
