Rocket

Meet Rocket, a big boy with an even bigger heart. Although he isn’t overweight he weighs an impressive 6.9kg
Rocket came to us from a loving home who couldn’t quite give him everything that he needed. Rocket will need a home with no other pets and lots of space a small flat wouldn’t suit his needs. He needs access to a secure garden where he could venture outside.
Rocket has been described as a loveable laid back oaf. He is quirky and funny. Here at the cattery he has settled really well and wants to be everyone’s friend. He has one requirement that must be fulfilled. He needs to come to bed with his owner. If shut out he will try everything to get your attention. As a clumsy soul your house will need to be cat proof and not have knickknacks on mantle pieces. If you are precious about your home looking perfect with ornaments and having the bed all to yourself, you are not the right person for Rocket.
Rocket hasn’t previous lived with children before but has had a positive interaction with a visiting child. Therefore he could be rehomed to a household with children 10+ if they are calm and sensible and have previous experience understanding cat body language.

Rocket likes to play with toys and must have someone willing to put the time in to keep him entertained. He requires a lot of energy to be burnt out. However once settled and he has the ability to go outside this need for extra play sessions in the home will lessen. As a longhaired cat he will have to be brushed regularly. With brushing he has had a mixed relationship with brushing and sometimes likes it and other times not. He is a lap cat and a cat that is very happy to be picked up. If you have the strength that is.
