Iris – I’m Reserved

About Me

Meet Iris, she came to us as a stray sadly found tied to a tree abandoned in the local quarry. Iris was all alone,  and worried and some local dog walkers found her thankfully.

Iris is such a gentle soul, she is true to her breed nature she loves people and company and is a true companion dog, she likes to sit next to your feet and chat away and is an affectionate soul. Iris is looking for a family home with a loving family that are around the majority of the day, either hybrid working from home and office or rotating shifts she wouldn’t suit being left long working hours in one day.

Iris could live with older children 8+, as long as they were respectful around her boundaries and enjoyed her daily care/routine.

Iris, is currently on a very strict diet as she came to us very overweight which is  big strain on her joints and health, she is doing really well and has a regular exercise routine which she adores this girl loves her adventures and is a spritely girl at heart! It’s important her new family keep up for this in her new home with our post adoption guidance.

Iris is looking for a home with no other pets even though she enjoys a potter with her dog friends at the shelter, she would prefer the 1-1 love and attention within her home.

Can you offer this lovely girl the fresh start she really deserves?
