Worcestershire Animal Rescue Shelter was established to ease the distress of animals that, through no fault of their own, are abandoned, unwanted or mistreated. Our aim is to give shelter, medical treatment and care, and of course to re-home.
We are based in Newland, just off the A449 Worcester to Malvern road, and last year with the help of our dedicated staff and volunteers, we re-homed over 275 dogs and cats and over 500 ex-battery hens.
Our task is enormous. It is essential we sustain our income and we rely solely on kind and generous donations to meet our running costs and, most importantly, the welfare of the animals in our care.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced fundraiser with a passion for animal welfare, to join our team to support community fundraisers in their activities, to plan and manage the charity led events and campaigns and to proactively develop other fundraising income streams to support our valuable work.
