Wicca has come into WARS through no fault of his own. This charming chap has been a little shy since he came in, but if you give him some chin tickles and ear rubs, he soon grows brave and comes out to say hello. He has a big purr and scrunchy feet, once he becomes comfortable with you and actually turns in to a bit of a flirt
Wicca will want a home where he is the only pet in an adult-only environment, as he is wary around children. Once settled he will want access to the outdoors and would love a fairly rural area so he can podder around in safety.
Just like dogs it is important to introduce your new cat slowly into its new environment. Choose a safe place that is traffic free to initially settle them in and provide plenty of toys for them to play and chase. Providing a scratch mat or post will help discourage them from doing so on your furniture. Until the cat has settled it is important that the cat is kept indoors for a number of weeks. This along with grooming and interactive play will help develop your bond and ensure the cat is happy and settled in its new home.
