Tortellini came in after being found as a stray. She is a little round so could do with losing a bit of weight, but she does like to lounge around, clearly not an exercise buff, even her eyes always look like she want to doze off. She is a sweet little girl, always has a hello squeak for any visitors to her pen.
Tortellini will need to be the only pet in the home so she can have all the fuss and food to herself. She could live with children 8+ and will want eventual access to the outdoors, so a home away from busy roads would be best.
Just like dogs it is important to introduce your new cat slowly into its new environment. Choose a safe place that is traffic free to initially settle them in and provide plenty of toys for them to play and chase. Providing a scratch mat or post will help discourage them from doing so on your furniture. Until the cat has settled it is important that the cat is kept indoors for a number of weeks. This along with grooming and interactive play will help develop your bond and ensure the cat is happy and settled in its new home.
