Tiggy is a very pretty girl, who will need regular grooming due to her silky fur. She is a little shy and is still settling in at the cattery. She has come into WARS as her owner was unwell and unable to care for her anymore. Once she has settled in we are sure she will start showing her personality.
Tiggy is currently out on foster. Interest is welcomed.
Tiggy will need a nice quiet home to go to. She would suit a adult only home, or older, calm children. As she is a shy she will need some time to settle and get used to her new home. She has been an indoor only cat and will need to stay this way. She will need to be the only pet in the household so she does not get overwhelmed.
Just like dogs it is important to introduce your new cat slowly into its new environment. Choose a safe place that is traffic free to initially settle them in and provide plenty of toys for them to play and chase. Providing a scratch mat or post will help discourage them from doing so on your furniture. Until the cat has settled it is important that the cat is kept indoors for a number of weeks. This along with grooming and interactive play will help develop your bond and ensure the cat is happy and settled in its new home.
