Sox has come into the kennels as his owners were no longer able to care for him. What a cracking dog this boy is. He has a real zest for life, especially if you have a tennis ball, he will chase and seek that all day long. Whilst he is strong on the lead, he walks well with a harness and loves to meet new people.
Currently out on foster
Sox would definitely need an active home where he can have lots of walks and exercise. Most importantly he will need a good supply of tennis balls. He is a boisterous boy so will need a ample sized fully enclosed garden to play in. He is a socailable boy so a family at home for a good part of the day or someone coming to break the day up would be ideal. He would suit a family with children 10+ and could live with another suitable dog.
With Sox being part Collie and part Lab, he has traits of both. He is an intelligent boy who is loyal and very active. He likes to be busy, using his nose to track down a tennis ball that you have hidden away for him to find. He does pick up new commands easily.
