Sebastian and Viola have come into WARS as sadly their owner was to unwell to care for them. They are a sweet pair of cats but are rather nervous at the cattery. We hope over time and with some calm and gentle socialsation, they will come out of their shells.
Ideally we feel Sebastian and Viola would be suited to a home with either a retired couple or individual, similar to the home they have come from. They will need a nice, calm, quiet home, where they have time and space to settle in. They will want eventual access to the outdoors, once they have settled.
Just like dogs it is important to introduce your new cat slowly into its new environment. Choose a safe place that is traffic free to initially settle them in and provide plenty of toys for them to play and chase. Providing a scratch mat or post will help discourage them from doing so on your furniture. Until the cat has settled it is important that the cat is kept indoors for a number of weeks. This along with grooming and interactive play will help develop your bond and ensure the cat is happy and settled in its new home.
