This little lady has come in to see us as she finds herself looking for a new home. Sadly her elderly owners are no longer able to care for her. She is a shy little girl who needs time to get to know new people before she is comfortable around them. Because of this we are helping the family rehome Ruby whilst she stays in their home with them.] Ruby can be won over with some nice tasty treat and does love to chase a tennis ball. She needs a patient approach and will come to you in her own time. Whilst she has been around children she is better suited to teenage children who are calm and understanding of her needs. Once she gets to know you she shows her true loving character and will even come and sit on your lap. She may require a little work on her house training and basic socialisation as she is never to sure about how to approach another dog, even though she has lived with one for a few weeks.
Ruby’s family feel she would be best suited in a home similar to where she has come from. A retired individual or couple who are at home for most part of the day. She would be best suited to a home without children or teenage age children, living at home or visiting. She could possibly live with another suitable dog and/ or a calm, confident cat. She will need a secure garden to play in, with room to chase a tennis ball.
