Roxy finds herself at WARS through no fault of her own. She is a very friendly dog who loves being around people and getting as much fuss as possible. She is a little chunky at the moment but a very active girl so that weight should go down in no time. She walks well on a lead and is comfortable to see dogs at a distance, but she is not keen on dogs being all up close and personal.
Roxy needs a home that will be active and give her the training and stimulation she craves. Roxy would be more suitable in a home with children over the age of 14 who are sensible and calm. Roxy has lives with other dogs in her previous home but would be more suited as an only dog in the home. Roxy is an under socialised dog who hasn’t been exposed too much. Her new owners should expect her to take a while to adjust to a routine and a dog who needs to experience new things slowly. Roxy couldn’t live with cats or small furries as we believe she would find them to be a tastey treat. She would need a home that wouldnt leave her for too long. 4 hours maximum.
Siberian husky’s are generally good natured, friendly and very sociable. They would benefit a more experienced dog owner due to their need of an active lifestyle, they require a lot of time and energy to be trained to maintain good behaviour. Although roxy is a husky cross, she does share the behavioural traits of the husky breed.
