Roger is a very special boy. He loves people but at first is quite nervous around them. He would really suit home with another dog or someone open to rehoming two greyhounds from WARS. Other dogs give him confidence and security he needs to go about his daily life. He is very affectionate and walks well on the lead however, he will need a owner who is strong enough to hold him if he were to decide to chase the tasty rabbit.
Roger is a greyhound that has previously been raced. Greyhounds themselves tend to be quiet and calm, enjoying the creature comforts of home mixed with a few walks here and there. Roger is no different. He like most greyhounds is rather sensitive and docile so will need to be trained with a calm and light hand with plenty of praise over vocal correction
