Reggie has come in from a home due to a relationship breakdown. He is a big strong boy, who is a bit of a oaf and an overgrown puppy. A real character of a dog. The staff have been working hard with him to teach him the basics and to not barrel into everything at 90mph. He is a super intelligent boy who picks up commands easily. He has now mastered not running into you and instead sitting waiting to take a treat. Ensuring he works his brain as well as his body is vital to a dog like Reggie and is very beneficial.
Reggie will need an experienced home with a family who are used to the Bulldog breed and able to handle strong dogs. He will need further training and socailsation so a family taking him to training classes is a must.
British bulldogs can be stubborn, so it can be difficult to change their minds once they’ve decided to do something. They can be rather sensitive too, so patient, consistent positive training involving tasty rewards is the way to go.
