Oswald was brought into WARS after loitering around in the garden of one of our volunteers. He is a sweet older boy who is an affectionate soul, and will be your pal for a treat. He is still settling into the cattery so more information to follow.
Oswald will want eventual access to the outdoors once he has settled. He could potentially live with another calm, suitable cat or dog. He would be suited to a home with children 12+ who live is a areas away from any overly busy roads.
Just like dogs it is important to introduce your new cat slowly into its new environment. Choose a safe place that is traffic free to initially settle them in and provide plenty of toys for them to play and chase. Providing a scratch mat or post will help discourage them from doing so on your furniture. Until the cat has settled it is important that the cat is kept indoors for a number of weeks. This along with grooming and interactive play will help develop your bond and ensure the cat is happy and settled in its new home.
