Oswald has come into WARS as he was not coping in his current environment. What a lovely old chap he is. He loves his cuddles, pick him up and he will nuzzle into your neck. He is a known wanderer. This may have been as he wasn’t happy in his old environment, or he may just like to go and meet as many people as he can, it’s hard to say. He has been with us since March and all here can’t understand why this lovely chap has not been snapped up yet!
Oswald would like a home where he is the only pet. he does like to explore his local neighbourhood, so would need a home away from any busy roads and neighbours who won’t feed him, no matter how cute he is.
Just like dogs it is important to introduce your new cat slowly into its new environment. Choose a safe place that is traffic free to initially settle them in and provide plenty of toys for them to play and chase. Providing a scratch mat or post will help discourage them from doing so on your furniture. Until the cat has settled it is important that the cat is kept indoors for a number of weeks. This along with grooming and interactive play will help develop your bond and ensure the cat is happy and settled in its new home.
