Oliver was found as a stray. Someone was feeding for a few months and a owner never came forward so he now find himself in the care of WARS. He is a sweet little boy, who can be a bit shy, but a Dreamie usually helps to win him round. He is happy to fussed but is a little unsure of being picked up, we think he is probably just not used to it
Oliver will want eventual access to the outside once he has settled in. he would suit a family with older children, just so he feels more comfortable.
Just like dogs it is important to introduce your new cat slowly into its new environment. Choose a safe place that is traffic free to initially settle them in and provide plenty of toys for them to play and chase. Providing a scratch mat or post will help discourage them from doing so on your furniture. Until the cat has settled it is important that the cat is kept indoors for a number of weeks. This along with grooming and interactive play will help develop your bond and ensure the cat is happy and settled in its new home.
