Poor Mr Fluffy Pants was picked up as a stray, it is thought he was left behind when someone moved. He is a nervous boy, not knowing his past, we don’t know what this boy has been through. He is not overly keen on being handled but is started to show signs that he wants some fuss and attention. He has started to venture out of his bed more and accept for head tickles and fuss from visitors. He has really turned a corner recently and will usually come and say hello to most visitors and loves lots of fuss and attention. He is really showing his true loving personality now he has learnt to trust us and that he is safe.
Mr Fluffy Pants will need an adult only home where he is left to his own devices. He will still need a nice supply of food, warmth and shelter, however, at this time, we don’t know how sociable he will be.
Just like dogs it is important to introduce your new cat slowly into its new environment. Choose a safe place that is traffic free to initially settle them in and provide plenty of toys for them to play and chase. Providing a scratch mat or post will help discourage them from doing so on your furniture. Until the cat has settled it is important that the cat is kept indoors for a number of weeks. This along with grooming and interactive play will help develop your bond and ensure the cat is happy and settled in its new home.
