Moz has come into WARS as his owner moved to rented accommodation and could not take him. It took Moz a little while to settle into the cattery but once he did he has showed himself to be a friendly boy, who loves tickles and head rubs. He does enjoy a sit on a lap given an opportunity.
Moz would need to be the only pet in the home. He is wary of children so an adult only home is needed. Once settled he will want eventual access to the outdoors. if you can supply a lap for him to settle on on an evening while you watch TV, this boy would be happy.
Just like dogs it is important to introduce your new cat slowly into its new environment. Choose a safe place that is traffic free to initially settle them in and provide plenty of toys for them to play and chase. Providing a scratch mat or post will help discourage them from doing so on your furniture. Until the cat has settled it is important that the cat is kept indoors for a number of weeks. This along with grooming and interactive play will help develop your bond and ensure the cat is happy and settled in its new home.
