Max is a typical young Beagle, full of energy and into absolutely everything. He is a cracking dog, who has found himself at WARS due his owner sadly passing away. He has bundles of energy which the staff are currently channeling with basic training and mind games. He does need work on the lead as he pulls in zig-zags, but this will easily come in time with basic training and dose of patience.

A family with experience of training a dog would be preferential, as well as a family who is used to the Beagle breed. He will benefit from going to training and socialisation classes, and will certainly need plenty of mental and physical stimulation. He will need a fully enclosed garden with 6ft fences and no small holes he can wiggle through. His owners would need to be around the majority of the day. He can live with another compatible dog and children of a suitable age
Beagles are known to be a friendly and merry type of breed that have a curious and outgoing nature. They have high energy levels and require large amounts of exercise and mental stimulation. They are largely very social and tend to be good around new people, children and other dogs. They are highly motivated by food so can train well. They can however be very vocal so please warn your neighbours!
