Masie came in from a home through no fault of her own. She can be quite a shy girl and take some time to come around. She is the perfect combination between independent and a socialble cuddly girl. Aside from her stunning she actually 6 years old.
Masie would be really comfortable in an indoor outdoor situation. She is apparently a very good hunter and she may need a bell on her collar to warn away the wildlife from her stealthy approach. Masie would be more suitable to a home with older children due to her confidence. She is independent so her new owners wouldn’t have to be home all the time.
Just like dogs it is important to introduce your new cat slowly into its new environment. Choose a safe place that is traffic free to initially settle them in and provide plenty of toys for them to play and chase. Providing a scratch mat or post will help discourage them from doing so on your furniture. Until the cat has settled it is important that the cat is kept indoors for a number of weeks. This along with grooming and interactive play will help develop your bond and ensure the cat is happy and settled in its new home.
