On the 17th June 2009 Ben (Site Manager) and his girlfriend Emily will be taking part in a charity bike ride from London to Paris to raise funds for the Animal Shelter. On the 20th June 2009 they will both be walking like John Wayne!!

Cycling 300 miles from London to Paris is one of the great cycle experiences in Europe. Passing through picturesque Kent countryside, they will cross the Channel and continue through the small villages and medieval market towns of Northern France, passing the famous battlefields of the Somme and Agincourt. With long days in the saddle and some strenuous hill-climbs, the sight of the Eiffel Tower, their finishing point, will evoke a real sense of achievement

They will have to ride about 75 miles per day to complete the entire trip over 4 days....(ouch!). They need to raise Ł3000 for the Shelter which will be a massive help so PLEASE sponser them as much as you can.
