Lolly finds herself at WARS through no fault of her own. She is a beautiful girl, who has settled into the cattery quickly. She likes to welcome visitors to her pen and gives good head bumps as a hello.
Lolly would like access to the outdoors once she has settled in, so a home away from busy roads will be needed. She could live with children 8+ but would like to be the only pet in the home, so she can all the attention to herself.
Just like dogs it is important to introduce your new cat slowly into its new environment. Choose a safe place that is traffic free to initially settle them in and provide plenty of toys for them to play and chase. Providing a scratch mat or post will help discourage them from doing so on your furniture. Until the cat has settled it is important that the cat is kept indoors for a number of weeks. This along with grooming and interactive play will help develop your bond and ensure the cat is happy and settled in its new home.
