Henry came into WARS after being found as a stray and was sadly never claimed. He is a young boy who may not have had the best start in life, but he loves his affection and will happily lean on your legs for a good bit of fuss. He is still undergoing assessments with other dogs, however he walks nicely with one of out other dog Peony. For a big dog he walks well on a lead and does not pull much, unless he really wants to go sniff something. He loves his food, which will make carrying out basic training easier, however, he will eat his food very quickly so this needs to be monitored so he does not make himself sick.
Henry would suit a home experienced with the Rottweiler breed or larger breeds. He will need a fully enclosed garden with 6ft fencing. He could live with children 16+. He could possibly live with another suitable dog.
The Rottweiler is traditionally good-natured, placid in basic disposition, very devoted, obedient, biddable and eager to work, their behaviour self-assured, steady and fearless. They react to their surroundings with great alertness. Male rottweilers have higher confidence, sharpness, and defense and play drives than females
