Frankie and Benny find themselves at WARS through no fault of their own. They are a bonded brother and sister, Frankie is a chatty girl who has settled in well and demanding fuss. Benny is a little shyer, but having his sister with him is helping his confidence.
Frankie and Benny will need to be rehomed together. They could live with children 8+ who understand that they will need some time and space to settle. Once they are settled and comfortable in their new environment, they will want access to outside, so a home away from busy roads is essential.
Just like dogs it is important to introduce your new cat slowly into its new environment. Choose a safe place that is traffic free to initially settle them in and provide plenty of toys for them to play and chase. Providing a scratch mat or post will help discourage them from doing so on your furniture. Until the cat has settled it is important that the cat is kept indoors for a number of weeks. This along with grooming and interactive play will help develop your bond and ensure the cat is happy and settled in its new home.
