Flash has come into WARS as her owner was not allowed her at the property. She is a shy girl and is taking a little while to settled in to the cattery. However, with a gentle approach it is clear she does want some fuss and attention. When she is comfortable, she gives a cute little burble to tell you all is fine.
Flash would be best suitable to an adult only home or a home with older, calm children. She is not really used to roads as previously has been mostly an indoor cat with occasional outside access. She could possibly cope as an indoor only cat. She will need to be the only pet in the home.
Just like dogs it is important to introduce your new cat slowly into its new environment. Choose a safe place that is traffic free to initially settle them in and provide plenty of toys for them to play and chase. Providing a scratch mat or post will help discourage them from doing so on your furniture. Until the cat has settled it is important that the cat is kept indoors for a number of weeks. This along with grooming and interactive play will help develop your bond and ensure the cat is happy and settled in its new home.
