Eric has come in from another rescue after his owners signed him over as they could not give him the car he needed. He is a young boy who has not had much socialisation. He can be a little shy so is still settling into the cattery. More information to follow.
Eric will need a home where he will be given some time and space to settle. He will want eventual access to the outdoors. We feel he would be best suited to a home with no other cats or dogs.
Just like dogs it is important to introduce your new cat slowly into its new environment. Choose a safe place that is traffic free to initially settle them in and provide plenty of toys for them to play and chase. Providing a scratch mat or post will help discourage them from doing so on your furniture. Until the cat has settled it is important that the cat is kept indoors for a number of weeks. This along with grooming and interactive play will help develop your bond and ensure the cat is happy and settled in its new home.
