Earl has come in to WARS after being found as a stray in Solihull and he was sadly never claimed. The vet castrated him and also had to sadly remove a damaged toe. He is a sweet but slightly shy boy who is taking a little time to settle into the cattery before he shows he true personality. He has tested positive for FIV, but please don’t be put off by this. This will mean he will need to be the only cat in the home. He will also need to be an indoor only cat. For more information on FIV please follow this link.
Due to the FIV, Earl will need to be an indoor only cat and the only cat in the home. He can be a little shy so will need some time and space to settle into his new home. He could live with children 10+
Just like dogs it is important to introduce your new cat slowly into its new environment. Choose a safe place that is traffic free to initially settle them in and provide plenty of toys for them to play and chase. Providing a scratch mat or post will help discourage them from doing so on your furniture. Until the cat has settled it is important that the cat is kept indoors for a number of weeks. This along with grooming and interactive play will help develop your bond and ensure the cat is happy and settled in its new home
