Important Stuff About Me:

Please not Dylan is not at WARS. His owner is looking to rehome him from home, with WARS assistance

From current owner

Dylan is a 5 year old neutered male lurcher (greyhound cross). He didn’t have the best start in life and was adopted by his current owner when he was 11 months old. His current owner has had him for the past 4 years however due to a combination of his behavioural issues, long working hours and deteriorating health of the other dog in the house, she has made the difficult decision to rehome him to someone with more time for him.

Dylan needs an owner with experience of the breed, who is home for most of the day. He must be with an older large dog (preferably another lurcher) and no children.

He is content to be left for a few hours at present if the other dog in the house is there, but has severe separation anxiety if left completely on his own. He is extremely smart and would be easy to crate train for someone who has the time to do so. He walks beautifully on the lead but unfortunately is reactive to other dogs. When off lead he mostly ignores smaller dogs and wants to play with bigger dogs! He is very food orientated and also loves playing with his toys (although he’s not very good at bringing them back!!!).

Due to his breed he has a strong prey instinct and therefore would not be suitable to be homed with cats, small furries or livestock. He loves his long walks but is never happier than when he is curled up on the sofa by the fire.

He is the most loving boy who has a heart of gold and would make a wonderful addition to the right home. If you think you can give this gorgeous boy the loving home he deserves, or would like more information about him, please contact
