We had a great turn out and many people came to support us, with the shelter raising a remarkable £3,013.75!
The winner of Best in Show was Janice Hill with her dog Prada (pictured on the right).
The sun came out for the day and we made a fantastic £2370.36.
The staff and committee would like to thank all who helped and also everyone who came to support us.
Fantastic news - we re-homed our first cat on the 21st March.
Millie has gone to a loving new family with lots of space around them where she can roam in the fields and terrorise the local mouse population.
We are very pleased to report this good news so soon after opening and hope that Millie will be very happy in her new home.
THE NEW CATTERY
The
new cattery finally opened on the 1st March. We are now fully up and
running and are looking forward to many success stories in the
future. Results of the June Draw for the 100 CLUB Prizes!
The '100 CLUB' is run by a volunteer to raise funds for the shelter.

This month's draw was held at the Committee meeting at the end of the month and the lucky winners are : -
1st Prize - Mrs Shovelton (£40)
2nd Prize - Miss Burd (£22)
3rd Prize - Mrs Bowen (£20)

Please consider joining this and supporting the shelter on a regular
basis, with the chance of a cash prize. The Club donated over £634 to
the shelter during its first year - well done to all the members, and
thanks to Sue!
