Success Stories 2006 Charlie Charlie (far left) was re-homed in November 2006. He has settled in really well but likes to think he is boss!. As you can see from the photo he has made some new friends and loves to go on lots of walks. George George was re-homed in October 2006. George has settled in really well and the blanket that you can see in the picture gets carried around the house by him. He has also made great friends with the butcher who gives him a bone each week. Honey Honey was re-homed in September 2006. Since being in a home she can sit and give paw. She gets lots of walks and then goes to sleep for hours after. She has also made friends with the cats in her home and even gets visits from the kitten down the road! Barney
Barney was re-homed in August 2006. Barney (previously Buddy) is having lots of fun in his new home and constantly wants to play ball! He still has loads of energy but is now getting the attention he deserves. He has 2 cats that he shares his home with and he is actually scared of them! Patch
Patch was re-homed in August 2006 after being at the shelter quite some
time. Anyone who knew Patch, knew he was rather an escape artist, his new owners had to make their garden "Patch proof" and even then he tried to look for ways out. Now he has been there a little while he has settled and now no longer wants to try to escape. He loves his cuddles and falls asleep on people's laps, but he does snore! He is now very happy and a very much loved dog. Norman
Norman was re-homed in June 2006. He came in as a stray and Hannah, one
of the animal welfare assistants fell in love with him instantly. In no time at all he settled into his new home and loves to play with any dog he meets. He has also managed to learn sit, stay, down and speak! Holly ![]() Holly,
(called Molly at the shelter) is doing really well after being re-homed
in May 2006. She loves to run around with her new friends, Daisy, Millie, BeBe, Violet and Oliver. Max
Max was re-homed in May 2006 and has settled into his new home without
any problems. He enjoys going for walks and also goes to work with his owner. Shadow
Shadow was re-homed in May 2006 and is now enjoying life in his new
home, after being at the shelter for a year.He has really bonded with the other two dogs and is finally getting the love he deserves. Rebel
Rebel (previously called Rolo) was re-homed in May 2006 and is becoming
really obedient. He can now manage sit, down, paw, wait and heel. He is getting on well with the dog, cats and rabbit. Gracie Gracie
was re-homed in April 2006. She was a little ball of fluff when she left the shelter. Previously called Fizz, everyone used to love taking her out. She has now settled in really well in her new home and is enjoying all the fuss and love. Jack Jack was re-homed in March 2006. Here he is on the Malvern Hills. We would like to congratulate him on passing his K/C puppy foundation course in June and is also going to agility classes when a bit older. His new owners are really pleased with him and say that they couldn't have wished for a better dog. Charlie Charlie
(previously called Snoop) was re-homed in March 2006. Unfortunately he was tied to the gate one morning when staff arrived. It didn't take long for him to find a loving home and now goes on regular caravanning holidays. Gemmie
Gemmie has settled in really well after being re-homed in March 2006.
She gets taken on loads of walks and also tries to get on the trampoline when people are using it. She also gets on very well with Jasper (who is also in the photo) and all other dogs she meets. Morgan Morgan
was re-homed in February 2006. In his new home Morgan has learnt to fetch, as everyone who knew him knows, he was never very good at this! He also has a best friend, a sheep dog called Beaulah. He is getting on really well and gets lots of walks and attention. Amber Amber came to us at the
shelter with a few problems. These included separation anxiety and
chewing. After a couple of false starts, she finally found the perfect
loving home in January 2006, and is behaving very well. | |
