Clay was born in a foster home on 12th May, to Cassie. He is a playful little boy who can be a little shy on first meet. He loves to play and chase his mum so they will need to be rehomed together. Photo by WARS
Clay will need to be rehomed with his mum Cassie They will want a home where they can have eventual access to the outdoors once Clay is neutered. They could live with children 8+ but would be best as the only pets in the home
Just like dogs it is important to introduce your new cat slowly into its new environment. Choose a safe place that is traffic free to initially settle them in and provide plenty of toys for them to play and chase. Providing a scratch mat or post will help discourage them from doing so on your furniture. Until the cat has settled it is important that the cat is kept indoors for a number of weeks. This along with grooming and interactive play will help develop your bond and ensure the cat is happy and settled in its new home.
