Meet the handsome Chyann. He has come into the kennels through no fault of his own after his owner could no longer care for him. He arrived at the Shelter a little shy but as each day passes his confidence grows and he is no doubt going to be a firm favourite with staff and volunteers. He is currently enjoying long leisurely walks with his new friend Bella.
Currently on foster
Chyann will need an experienced home, preferably one who has previously cared for a Spitz breed. He will need a fully enclosed garden with a minimum 6ft fence. His new owners would need to be around the majority of the day and be willing to continue his general obedience training. He could live with another compatible dog but no cats or small furries. He would be best being rehomed to an adult only home or with older teenage children who would enjoy helping him with his training.
Northern/Spitz type breeds often love to run, making great CaniX or Bikejor partners. They have sharp, clever minds and are adept at problem solving, an athlete with brains! They can enjoy the sound of their own voices and spreading hair all round your house!
