Button has come in from another rescue as sadly her owner was unable to keep her. She is such a sweet little girl, who settled into the cattery really quickly. She loves people and is very affectionate. As soon you go into her pen she will start to rub around your ankles, desperate for some attention.

Button would suit most types of homes. She is pretty chilled out and takes to most situations without to much fuss. She will want eventual access to the outdoors, but also a nice comfy bed and a lap to come home to.
Just like dogs it is important to introduce your new cat slowly into its new environment. Choose a safe place that is traffic free to initially settle them in and provide plenty of toys for them to play and chase. Providing a scratch mat or post will help discourage them from doing so on your furniture. Until the cat has settled it is important that the cat is kept indoors for a number of weeks. This along with grooming and interactive play will help develop your bond and ensure the cat is happy and settled in its new home.
