Bill and Ollie came in together as sadly their owner was having to move and could not take them with her. They are bonded brothers and will occasionally snuggle up together if they are worried. They are both quite nervous in the cattery at the moment, but in their previous home they were confident and out going, so we are sure with a little time, their confidence will build.
Bill and Ollie will need to rehomed together. They will want access to the outdoors once they have settled. They would be best as the only pets in the home and with no young children around.
Just like dogs it is important to introduce your new cat slowly into its new environment. Choose a safe place that is traffic free to initially settle them in and provide plenty of toys for them to play and chase. Providing a scratch mat or post will help discourage them from doing so on your furniture. Until the cat has settled it is important that the cat is kept indoors for a number of weeks. This along with grooming and interactive play will help develop your bond and ensure the cat is happy and settled in its new home.
