Bear was found as a stray and sadly never claimed. He is a typical, sociable Labrador, with his nose into everything and tail wagging. Bear has an exuberance for most things in life especially a tennis ball or a paddling pool. Life can on occasion can be overwhelming for Bear and he tries to find ways to sooth himself, so his new owners will need to find ways to keep him mentally stimulated and get his brain working
Bear will need an active home where he can go for lots of walks and being physically and mentally stimulated. He will need a fully enclosed garden and would be very very happy if you had a pond or paddling pool he can play in. His new family must be prepared to take him to further training and socialsation classes.
Expect a Labrador to enjoy retrieving thrown toys, but he is also capable of using his nose to find hidden items. The Labrador is a big dog with a big heart, and a big capacity for shedding hair and spreading mud. He loves long walks, swimming and spending time with his people. The labrador is an intelligent dog capable of a high level of training so don’t let that mind go to waste!
