Alice came into WARS after she was found as a stray and was never claimed. She was quite nervous when she arrived but very quickly gained in confidence and showing her true cheeky side. She is a typical bouncy lurcher, who loves to run and play with other dogs and also loves cuddles on the sofa. She needs training and needs to learn that every dog does not want to be bounced on, but this will come in time.
Alice could possibly live with another dog as long as they get along, but no cats or small furries. She will need a family who will take her to training and socialisation classes and have a fully enclosed garden with 6ft fences.
Lurchers are crossbreeds so their temperaments and behaviours can be influenced by other breed traits. Like most Lurchers, she enjoys a good snooze in front of the fire in between racing around the garden. Being young, she is still learning but is bright eager to learn more so dog training classes would be strongly advised. She, like many Lurcher types has a strong prey drive so it’s important that this is channeled in the right way
